She has earned a Master’s in Public Administration, and is a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP). Additionally, Kenan is working towards her Certified Account Executive (CAE) credential, placing her among an exclusive group of first-class association executive professionals.

Kenan joins SBI following her role as Director of Education at the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, where she managed their Continuing Medical Education (CME) program, including maintaining accreditation for the organization. Her most notable accomplishments during her tenure there include securing over $100K in education grants, and launching a new practice transformation education initiative.

Requirements correspond to those of national specialty boards. PCRS is a multidisciplinary medical specialty society providing CME to physicians and allied healthcare professionals and offers the highest quality CME designed and presented by thought leaders in reproductive medicine.

“After a thorough national search, our team concluded Felicia is the best candidate for SBI,” said Marlis Korber, CEO and President of SBI. “Her extensive background and leadership experience will serve SBI and our clients well. We feel fortunate to have found someone with the exact expertise she will bring to our organizations.”

Serving thirteen years at an earlier association management company has prepared me to handle the constant evolving nature of managing multiple associations. I look forward to bringing my commitment to excellence and leadership, coupled with an attention to detail, to SBI as we embark on this journey of providing exceptional client services.”

Kenan will be joining the team remotely from Georgia on October 12, 2020, becoming the fourth full-time remote employee at SBI.
