As a Seattle native, Lindsay has been involved with local non-profits for many years, previously coordinating events and membership programs for the Downtown Seattle Association (DSA), including issue-oriented forums, community events and luncheons for business and community leaders. She supported the membership department in providing a valuable member experience and opportunities for engagement through events and volunteer opportunities. Prior to joining SBI in 2010, Lindsay also developed strong marketing and customer service experience at DSA and while working for an online retailer in Portland, Oregon.

Some of her past volunteer experiences include serving on the Powerful Schools Guild to organize an annual auction fundraiser, Seattle’s Bicycle Advisory Board and as an AmeriCorps VISTA. She is also an active member of the American Marketing Association, and has enjoyed dipping her toes into public speaking at events for Meeting Planners International Washington State Chapter and Washington Society of Association Executives.

Lindsay oversees business development efforts for SBI. She got her start with SBI by spearheading the creation of the events and marketing departments after leadership saw a need for focused expertise and management of events and marketing for SBI’s nonprofit clients. As the company continues to grow, her focus is on inspiring service excellence and best practices adoption with the events and marketing teams as well as managing marketing and business development initiatives for SBI.

She has managed national meetings, conferences and networking events for many SBI clients, overseeing all aspects of each event from site selection, marketing, sponsorship management and budget development to staffing, onsite logistics and post-event reconciliation. Whether it’s building momentum for a national conference for 1,500 or revamping a website, Lindsay always has a goal to work closely with clients, staff and vendors to foster growth and provide improved efficiency, value, and a fabulous member experience.

Lindsay enjoys building lasting relationships with clients, event vendors and sponsors, recognizing the importance of these valuable connections in building sustainable programs and events. She has goals to support the growth and innovation of SBI and association clients through the development of strategic marketing plans and quality assurance standards. She enjoys collaborating with SBI’s client services, marketing, and events teams to deliver efficient, proactive, high-caliber association services.

A Little Something Extra
Lindsay loves both urban and wilderness adventures and frequently escapes to the Methow Valley or San Juan Islands for hiking, biking and skiing. In town, you might find her exploring the local foodie scene with friends, then sweating it out at bikram yoga or crossfit.
