Michele’s previous career was as the CEO of two successful high-temperature textiles companies in the aerospace and high heat advance textile industries. During her tenure as CEO, her company was featured in Inc. Magazine and she moved several product lines from conception to commercialization. She migrated from her companies to working in business and strategic development managing remote outreach teams in post-secondary education. After moving to Seattle in 2014, Michele used her business operational and outreach skills and transitioned into association management; eventually joining the SBI Team in 2016. Michele is also an Emeritus for SCORE as a business mentor.
Michele serves as SBI’s Vice President of Client Success, ensuring overall client satisfaction, and works with the SBI Executive Team on company growth and profitability. Additionally, Michele serves as the Executive Director for the American Academy of Oral Medicine (AAOM), the American Board of Oral Medicine (ABOM), the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society (PCRS) and serves as the Managing Director for the Pellet Fuels Institute (PFI).
A little something extra
Michele and her husband have lived in a variety of cities, choosing the Northwest as their home. They share 5 children and 4 grandchildren and you can find them most weekends either working in their yard or on a road trip. Michele’s husband is the regional director for Central Washington Lynnwood Campus and they enjoy collaborating on the future of post-secondary education and the local economy.
